For Another Stolen Hour

"I'm gonna wrap it up for you, keep it at minimum mobility for a week or two, okay?" said Sammy.

Adam gave a small nod, looking worried. "Um...okay."

"Limited, but not completely immobilized," said Sammy.

"Okay." Adam sighed, running his uninjured hand through his hair.

"It'll be alright, I promise." said Sammy.

"Good." Adam said, smiling at Sammy.

Sammy smiled, working to wrap Adam's hand. "This may hurt a bit, but try to stay still."

Adam flinched as Sammy spoke before forcing himself to stay still, biting his lip instead.

"I'll be done soon," said Sammy.

Adam nodded and closed his eyes, leaning his head back so it was against the wall.

Sammy worked on Adam's hand.

Adam hummed quietly to distract himself as Sammy worked.

Sammy smiled. "There you go."

Adam opened his eyes and smiled at Sammy. "Thanks." He said.

Sammy nodded. "Of course."

Adam smiled and looked around before hugging Sammy.

Sammy hugged him back.

Adam gently kissed Sammy's head before letting go, sighing quietly.

"Let's go back to your office okay?" Sammy said quietly.

"Okay." Adam smiled, getting up.

Sammy moved toward the door.

Adam walked out of the room and started heading back towards his office.

Sammy followed

Adam grinned when he opened the office door and realised the other teachers still weren't in yet.

Sammy smiled. "Still alone are we?"
